UV Curing Equipment
UV curing is a process which ultraviolet light and visible light is used to initiate a photochemical reaction that generates a crosslinked network of polymers. UV curing is highly adaptable to be implemented in applications of printing, coating, decorating, stereo lithography and assembling of a variety of products and materials owing to some of its key attributes. It is a low temperature process, a high speed process, and a solvent-less process. The process of curing is by polymerization rather than by evaporation. UV curing technology is utilized for drying inks, coatings, adhesives and other UV sensitive materials through polymerization. UV LED improves on that existing process by enabling thinner, heat-sensitive substrates while reducing harmful byproducts such as ozone, and improving workplace safety. Additionally, UV LEDs can be turned on and off instantly, and input power can be utilized efficiently to enable lower operation costs over the application lifetime.
